Default hawk pads don't fit? wtf...

don't know if this is the right spot to post this but here we go...
I was putting my front suspension back together and went to put the brake pads in, which i figured would be the easiest thing of all i've had to do, and the pads don't fit. i was told the front and rear suspension was off a 97 integra when i bought it to swap onto my hatch. everything else i've bought for them, rotors/ball joints/bearings has all fit fine. and the rear pads fit fine. but the fronts aren't the right shape. here is a pic:

on the left is the new hawk hps pad, the right is the old pad that came out:

clearly they are not the same shape, and the pad doesn't want to fit at all, mostly becasue the ends are too big. i looked it up and the model number seems right (HB245F.631). anybody have any ideas? did i pick up the wrong front suspension setup? but why would everything else fit?

If its like my 97 Accord, before you purchase brake parts you have to look @ them first. For my car Honda had two different brands for brakes and the parts are not interchangeable. I am assuming the same for this.

i hope you're right, but i've looked at a few different sites for part numbers and it looks like this is the only part number listed for a 94+ integra non type-r.

I know this doesnt apply to ur car but as you can see there are two diff. manufacturers of the oem brakes which needs to be known for the replacement brakes.

Good luck!

i think hb245 is the correct pad for the 94-01 integra base front brake. they should be etched on the pad. sometimes you have to file the edge if it's a little tight. something looks off on the pic you posted though. i havent had base brakes on my teg for awhile now so i've more or less forgotten what they look like. just remember 245 in the front with hawk.
