Default no cluster lights

alright so the other night I went to get into my car and start it up, flipped my lights on and my cluster won't light up. I have power to everything else, the directionals work, high been light, oil light, all that works just fine. It's just the cluster bulbs that won't work. I checked them, and replaced them, they are new and not the problem. Any ideas on what I could be? if it's an easy fix then I'll get it done, but if it's a wiring problem then I'll probably just get some el glo gauges from speedhut.com

check your fuse box... and make sure you are gettin power to them... i believe under the dash there is a 10 or 15 amp fuse that is for instrument bezel

there is no fuse for the lights under the hood. The only one for the cluster is under the dash

i guess it depends on the model, my 95 Ls Teg has quite a few fuses under the hood, i changed the blown one and everything works. just check for blown fuses. will never hurt to change out some blown ones you don't know about
hope this helps

remove the cluster and check all the bulbs, as there might be one or more out! Ground issues might also cause something like this to happen!

Have to agree... I had the same situation go on with me. I even bought a second cluster thinking something was wrong with the one I had. It ended up being the 10$ dimmer switch...

I had the same problem... i swapped out a bulb in my cluster and burned the fuse.. i replaced the fuse and it worked for a few minutes and burned again. i ended up going with a higher amp fuse.. works fine for a few weeks now.
