where can i get a harness like this
i rode in a evo once that had seat belt harnesses that used the rear seats seat belt as a anchor or tether rather then using a cross brace/ harness bar. now i know all about the height and how most people dont like to use any thing but a harness bar, so that aside does any one know where i can get a harness like this for my eg hatch? a harness bar is out of the question due to my childs car seat in the back seat and the fact her legs would hit on any such cross bar.
Find another car to carry your daughter in.
Don't go compromising her safety for your enjoyment at any cost!
She is precious cargo my friend.... priority number one

gonna have to agree with these guys.. find another car for the daughter to ride in.. other than that, you can buy the bolts and such that is needed from pretty much any place that carries the belts..
bump does any one know who makes these harness? and or where i can purchase one? im kinda against the clock and am supposed to have it by friday. a harness bar is not even a option and neither is purchasing another car. please pay attention to my request i am very clear about what i am looking for.
are you on crack? dont you read? i clearly said her safety is why i am not now nor will i ever install a harness bar, pay attention skippy im getting the harness i described so she is safe and has no harness bar near her legs. i also will not be purchasing another car so unless you know where to find the exact harness i am looking for kindly refrain from wasting your time and mine.

None of the harness vendors sell the setup you're looking for. Schroth does some quick fit setups for the Evo, STi, some BMW's, etc., but nothing direct for a Honda. I use the Schroth ProFi3 4-point belt with bolt in anchors. Pull the rear seat up and you can use the same bolt points that the factory rear belts use. When the harness is not in use, you can just move it out of the way.

Most of us who use harnesses ONLY for autocross bolt it to the rear seat belt mounts. After an event I tuck it onto the floor and disconnect the belts and tuck the lap belts under my seat. I would never use a harness bar if you carry passengers in the back.
I also have my kids in the back of my EG so there's no way I'm going to put them in harms way.

It's obvious your laziness level is far below 99% here in this forum, resulting in you wanting to flame someone for advice.
Thats fine.... I won't stoop to your level and dignify your tirade with a equal response. That would be too easy.
Personally I have problems with someone using their daily driver as a track car. but thats my issue.
Don't waste our time by asking us without searching the forum thoroughly. There might be 10 pages of searching to do but you would eventually find an answer. There are lots of manufacturers that make harnesses. You dont even mention one by name.
I'm surprised you haven't researched all of them ,and found something that suits your needs.
You refer to what you want pretty vaguely by saying you rode in an Evo once. Yea we were there with you that day, and we all recall exactly what harness was used in that Evo.
Try using a telephone too, actually calling a supplier might cut time off your "under the gun" timeline.
If you are going to use safety equipment use it correctly.
