Default Integra Mc bench bleed prcosedure step?

I am not asking for a how to on this but really about i step i was told to take but no one ever mentions.

Back when i was in school we replaced a Mc and was told that before we connect the lines back to the Mc to press the pedal down slowly and at the same time someone else screw's the line in so no air would get in. Now i don't know if this was only to get away from bleeding the whole car afterward. Since i did the entire front lines, prop & Mc is this necessary? Can i just install everything not bench bleed it and just bleed the entire system using this bad boy

i just purchased this the other day and it bleeds the system using vacuum so it sucks all the air out i would assume this would get a all the air not close to all of it.
