I haven't seen it, it's my neighbors and he has it at a friends right now (blown head gasket).

It is stock so, anyone have an idea what the hose would be for?

 

Tell him to check that one bolt, you know, the one that's in that one place in the engine bay...that would probably fix it.

I am sorry that I came out with little explanation however,

I was wondering what the hose could possibly be for?

Blow off? Why would it be a rubber/silicone hose?
Waste gate.....nope those are fed back into the exhaust via the down pipe.
Coolant.....leaks air.
Oil....again leaks air.

ANd I am unsure if stock supras come with intercoolers. If so, again, why a rubber hose.

what year is the supra? i was looking to buy an 89 but around that year they are know to have head gasket issues

 

the supras that have turbos have ic's and they dont have hard ic pipes. just plastic and rubber

Yeah, I guess it was bound to happen to me....I do it to the guys in Tech all the time.


ConvertFI, Thanx for the heads up....if it is his Intercooler piping.....#1, I will bop him on the side of the head and #2, I will encurage his Yamaha riding *** to fix the pipe.
