Hi,
I need to install new rear speaker for my 01 Civic EX. I tried getting the rear seats to sleep but seems like I have to open up the seat side panel. I cannot figure out how to take off the side panel. Can anyone provide me instructions on how to do this ?

Let me see if I remember how do do this, its been a while...
Fold the seats down, flip open the back and unbolt the seat backs.
Then there's 1 bolt holding in the seat bottom, pull up.
Pull the pillar covers off.
Remove the seatbelt bar (I assume this is a coupe)
Find the screws holding in the side panels (theres definitely one behind the armrest handle, I cant remember where else), pull the side panels off.
Remove the lightbulb wire from the 3rd brake light, and the rear deck lifts off with 6 or 7 poppers. I dont remember if there's any screws holding it down.
Thats the gist of it. I'm sure someone has more complete instructions.
When you put the deck back together, make sure all the pop clips seat, or it'll rattle like hell.

Do I have to take off the rear seats to get access to the side seat panel ??
