Default 99 Integra Mod

When i bought the car my antenna wouldnt go down, so i decided that i wanted to just remove it. Can i just take the antenna out without removing the whole assembly and just putting a grommet to cover the hole?

Nice screen name. You can remove the antenna and replace it with one from a S2000. Looks clean and oem. I suggest that.

i got a firewall plug from a dude on my local forums. kinda overpayed but you could get it for like 5$ at a junk yard and it works great. honestly dude either just replace the mast or remove the motor too. its not that hard.

I was searching about this and i saw a pic of of someone buying a grommet from Honda and using that to plug his antenna hole...It looked pretty clean and is fairly cheap.

ok ok heres your tutorial on the simplest thing ever. get all the crap out of your trunk. get yourself a 10mm socket on an extension and a flat head. push those little plastic circles down and they will release the plastic that covers your trunk. start with the tail first then the left side. next put the seats all the way forward. theres a pop out cover with a 10mm behind it take that out. theres another 10mm above the wheel well take that out. disconnect the trunk light. pop that cover off and unbolt the electrical connectors to the motor then unbolt the motor. i may have forgotten something i did this a while ago. and for like 2.50 i bought my plug from honda i think its 31mm not sure though but i think its the plug from the tl a pillar.

lol firewall plug. thats what i have. i love the way they sell them as antenna deletes when there are actual honda parts for a proper antenna delete. not JUST the genuine honda firewall plug.

that plug is wayyyy over priced.

op shoot me a pm and ill send you the part number, you can get it at your local honda dealer for like 5-6 bucks and it looks clean.

i have my rear wiper and antenna deleted and paid less then 12 bucks for both grommets.

if you still want to listen to your radio there's a thread around here about an antenna you mount to the glass inside your car, ill try to find it.
