Interior clock issue

Default Interior clock issue

ok ever since i bought my lude in november the clock has been acting weird......if i set the clock to the right time it will work for a day or so then after its been parked overnight, in the morning it will be set at a totally different time then what it should be at...also when i turn the **** to the right to change the minutes, if i hold the **** the minutes keep going up and doesnt stop until i turn off the car....any suggestions on what it could be? a new clock or **** maybe?? or is it something else...any help is appreciated...i hope i explained the prbolem clearly

sounds like a clock problem, but check the power and grounds to the clock inputs first.

i'd go fetch one from a junkyard and try that one and see if it works.

i was bored, so i looked up the wires on alldata-

hot at all times - white/yellow wire

ign switch power - yellow

ground wire - black

theres 5 wires going to the "time set switch" aka the ****

check both fuses 43 and 13 they both feed the clock power

make sure you dont have an electrical issue. If it isnt then it must be something wrong with the clock. We had a customer that had the same situation. Most of the time the clock will last as long as your seat belt retractors. This indeed is super rare.

If you aren't having to reprogram your preset radio stations, then it's most likely just a bad clock.

mines worse
my hour number scrolls upward pretty quickly
minutes are fine
i go through 24 hours in like 10 seconds

^^^^same here man...my younger sister calls my lude the back to the future car because of that...lol..then we laugh and smoke some more to get a bigger trip. its INTENSE!!!!!!!!

It's a very common problem on most 4th gens. Mine does it every now and then on hot days.
