Default How do I hook up vtec on H22 swap

Ok I got it all almost figured it out, but on the harness, is A4 always for vtec, I saw a harness from a b16 and the wire was like orange, on my obd1 H23 harness the wire is green/yellow, I just want to know if I could just cut this wire and run it to the vtec solenoid or is the vtec pin located in another place for the H23 harness?

If there is a wire in the A4 slot of a h23 harness then you are looking at the wrong wire

it goes like this looking at the harness flipped upside down

A1 A3
A2 A4

That's the one I'm looking at, but there's a wire there already and it's thinner than the one on the vtec solenoid, but if that's the one that it's supposed to run the vtec I would like to know where it ends. My car is a 93si just to let you know.

I got some pics, maybe the 93 models are already wired for vtec, I think I found the connector:

There's another connector that I thought was the oil pressure but on my brother's car it's hooked up to a little vaccum box, so no, it's not what I was looking for:

It's the same A4 wire that runs from the ecu harness all the way to this connector which isn't hook up to anything, it's a single wire and the connector fits perfectly on the vtec solenoid, no I need to find the Oil pressure connector but I can't find it, no this pic it shows that it's pin C6:

On the pic it shows different color wires, probably cuz it's from a b16 harness.
On my car it's a baby blue wire, but I can't seem to find where this wire runs through, here's a pic:

Most of you guys here have H22 swaps and I'm pretty sure there's someone here who can help me, thanks!!

If you have a 93 si (same as mine), then it might be already pre-wired and much easier than you expected.

Look at the connector and wire color code for C484/C139 and C426/C134

Note those connectors in the engine bay.

vtec solenoid: center connector green/yellow. The plug is already there. Connect a wire to the plug and the other end goes to the solenoid. I used the correct color code wire for easy identification.

pressure switch wire: firewall connector - light blue wire. There's a plug on the connector that you need to remove and just insert a correct pin in the hole. Then connect the other end to the pressure switch. I also used the correct color wire here.

yeah it's the green/yellow wire next to the battery for the solenoid and the light blue wire coming out of the firewall next to the fuse box to the pressure switch and a ground.

pretty easy if you have h23 si already..

Ok, I'm doin a h22 swap as well...
I'm just not getting this lol, the black and red wire goes to a ground, and the light blue comes out of that connector, and you just wire it to the pressure switch? And.. that's it for the pressure switch?

The light blue wire is not there by default. The connector has a blind plug for the hole where the blue wire should go. If you have the pre-wired harness, you need to remove the blind plug and insert the correct pin into the hole on the connector. If your engine swap comes with the JDM engine harness, you should be able to find the correct pin from the harness.
