HOW DO I WIRE IN V-TEC????

Default HOW DO I WIRE IN V-TEC????

Wut up everybody. I'm puttin a h22 in my '92 Si and i am tryin to find out how to wire in v-tec into my Si wire harness.... I got the v-tec engine harness (un-cut) but i'm tryin to figure out how to wire v-tec thru the Si harness to the ECU... any help?

First, I would try to not sound like a stunna.

Then, I would run a wire from the harness, through the firewall, to the vtec selenoid.

that was pretty specific. that's how i wired my vtec into my non vtec ecu. 1 wire

OK, I will give you a more obvious answer.

Of course you need to run the VTEC power wire from the solenoid to the ECU/ECM. And you need to wire the VTEC pressure switch which has two leads/wires, one lead goes to ground and the other goes to the ECU/ECM as well. My car was already wired for VTEC. I dont know if all Preludes come like that or it varies from year to year however, the pressure switch signal and VTEC solenoid power was already in the main harness from the ECU/ECM to the engine bay.

RHD prelude---&gt;siiiiiiiiiiiiiick... but i have the v-tec ecu. and thnks for that last link, my only problem is i can't find a descent pin out for the v-tec ecu on here, i found one but i'm more of wantin to see pictures kinda think lol it just got me kinda confused. either way, i'll keep lookin to try to figureout wut pin its supposed to be ran to

that question was a bit better..

If you are going H22 buy a helms...
but the pin outs are also in that "ESSENTIAL LINKS" thread.
There is a link in there for Prelude Specifications and Stats (first link)

Go through that thread and you will find the pin outs..

The paintjob looks nice.

Since I am more performance oriented the car does not impress me.

the performance starts now.... hence the h22 wit act stage 2 clutch and fidanza flywheel, then the headers, CAI, cams, and camshafts i got onthe way
