Default the old oil trick....b16a help

so i once did this before, in a much less valuable d-series, but if your not getting good compression, i hear if you pour a lil bit of oil in the cylinder and run it for a bit it helps out, has anyone ever heard of this?

Ive not heard that before.... I do bet it kills allot of bugs in the area though.

I really dont see how that could help. I mean there are tons of cars with low compression because the rings are worn meaning oil is getting by them and Im pretty sure they just burn the oil and doesnt help anything.

This only gives you higer compression immediately after adding it while doing a compression test. If you add oil and the compression goes up it means your rings are the culprit.

i just got the head redone, with new stuff. valves seats etc. new head gasket, did the comp test, numbers go

#1-120 psi
#2-95 psi
gave up after that... it IS in time, and it MAY need a valve adjustment
