I need a new front bumper. Suggestions?
My 2007 4 door Si was unfortunate enough to try and play chicken with a shopping cart while i was working. Long story short, bumper cracked and dinged up pretty good. I got an estimate and itd be about $550 to get it fixed, i asked the guy who did my estimate about how much for a new one and he said around $650. So i was thinking i can just buy an aftermarket one and have it painted installed. Even if its a little more than $650 its better than having a cracked bumper, or paying the same amount to fix a bumper than it would be to buy a new one.
What i need are suggestions for the replacement bumper.
Pics would be appreciated

$300 for paint is average. Flex additive makes it kind of pricey. Does his estimate include blending? This may be why your quote seems high.

i googled oem bumpers but i couldnt find any sites that sell bumpers painted. does anyone know if i could buy an OEM bumper online already painted? i could do the install if its already painted.

just looked on slhondaparts, and there isnt a painted one..

On a brand new car? File an insurance claim and just pay your deductible (hopefully only $500) I wouldn't be putting aftermarket stuff on it.
my deductible is $1000 so there wouldnt be a point. i had the estimate done when my car was gettin fixed from when a lady backed into me and im not guna lie even tho her insurance is payin to fix my car ive had my fill of insurance companys for the next few years lol.
Holy crap a 1000 DEDUCTABLE
thats insane my deductible is only 100$ Go to a dealership and see how much it costs or you can always go to your local junk yard and try to find one you'll be suprised what you can find at a junk yard

Live and Learn. This is why your insurance company is there. You pay them gobs of money and should get a return on it sometime haha. **** I'm considering doing it just to get a new bumper (I ripped one tab) and want a respray on the car.
I'm in the same exact boat as you. I need to find a new front and I have been exploring my options. Honestly, I think I will be going with an aftermarket OEM style bumper since they're cheap (around $50 unpainted).
i do like the 09 bumper but i think if i went with that id hafta buy all the hardware too not just the bumper itself :/ im kinda stuck on the fence about which way to go.
