Default safety on crome?

i have a built h22a, tuned to 7 for break in but limiter at 8, im having trouble with power loss, i will get up to about 180km/h shift into fourth and my engine light will come on and the car will fall on its face like a fuel cut off, it doesnt do this all the time only the odd time, im just wondering what it could be, a safety on crome because its only tuned to 7 and i shift around 7 and half, or a throttle positioning sensor? once i turn the car off the light goes away and i have full power again. any ideas?

The issue you are having is not a "safety".

Does the check engine light come on & stay on ?

have you pulled the CEL?

My bet is something with the VTEC solenoid or oil pressure. (this is an ECU setting not an issue with your engine)

Check your malfunction indication code while the car is on with the engine running.
Instructions on how to do this are on http://www.phearable.net/tech

Does your motor have a vtec pressure switch ?
You need to resolve all malfunction indication lights to have a proper running vehicle.

Yes, it can be disabled in Crome and must've been reenabled if the problem only happened post tune.

yeah, im trying to think back and im almost sure thats what happened, but im gonna do an oil pressure check, to be safe, then just bypass instead of driving 5 hours to get disabled on crome.
