Default State Reffing a B16A2

hello i am new here on the forums and i need some help with my car..i'ts a 96 civic hatchback with a stock B16A2 i was wondering what i would need to Bar'd my car? I live in California. My car has a Hondata s200 ecu, 98+ type r headers, and 98+ type r muffler. Everything else besides that its stock. and i was wondering about my gas tank..what gas tank should i use?

You need:
stock b16a2 headers with heatshield
stock P2t Ecu
catalytic converter
evape purge solenoid valve from b16a2 manifold if you dont have it already..
receipt for the motor and proof of purchase
Stock 99 civic si air intake black box

Wires have to look neat with sparkplug covers and so on..
Battery tie down hardware
No check engine lights

Basically everything that came off the 99 civic si engine

tip: use the 99 civic si stock ecu.. if you get any codes then you must fix them.. if you fix all of them, then your good to go..

that sums it up but 1 important thing is U NEED ALL readiness monitors to be ready to ready to be able to pass

i bought the motor off of my friend..i have no papers for it but its a legit motor with vin # still in place..how else will i get papers for them?

well i dont have any paper work for my motor but its legit..i bought it off my friend couple years ago it still has vin # on it...

Definately gonna have to change the ECM. If the headers and exhaust appear stock you may get away with it. Like if they have the original heat shields and such. But if you have CARB_EO stuff then you should be ok.

i got no papers for the motor.. i bought it from my friend about 2 years ago. its a legit motor, Vin # still on there.

You also need a 99 or 00 gas tank because those gas tanks have a sensor for pressure and if you don't have it the 99 si ecu will throw a code.

i was wondering who added me..usually its ppl i actually noe or i played wit them a few times on cod..

this is what readiness monitors are..u need a scan tool to check if they are complete or not complete
