Remove the CAT or Replace it?
So my CAT is making loud noises from what looks to be semi loose rusted springs from where some bolts are connected to the piping. I finally found the source of it last night. I'm wondering if I should just remove the cat all together, or should I really replace it. In the future I planned on getting a performance muffler and I'm not sure if I should upgrade the piping.
Keep in mind I've got a GSR head and other bolt-ons already installed. Any help is appreciated guys!

Yea the test pipe idea sounds like a winner. However I'm concerned about emissions regulations. See when I was in Florida we used to straight pipe exhausts all day. Never was an issue. But up north ya'll got all these rules, and e-checks, and crap. I don't wanna have to do this twice just to stay legal.

i would get a new cat. when you get another exhaust your gonna get really annoyed with the sound. and plus we dont need regular cars adding to the f-ed up atmosphere. if its not a track car you shouldnt be f-ing up our planet more.
So here's the question... 2.5" piping? or stay at 2" which is what I think the factory size is.
