well here the thing for some reason my car was acting funny. like it was sputtering so i checked my plugs they were ok except for one.the one that was bad had a crack in porsolin where the sparkplug wire meets. so i change them out with new ngk v powers still had the same problem. then i figured i just do a compression test found out i got low compression 3 out of 4 cyclinder 160-170-220-170. no leaks at all no smoke either. i do hear my engine clicking tho i was wondering can loose valve cause low compression? the head was redone 6 months ago had 220psi all across when i check it while back

I'm kinda having the same problem, the compression in 2 of my cylinder is low and my valves are ticking.

 

no loose valves wont cause a low compression situation, being to tight can cause an issue cause they wont close all of the way, a valve adjust might be a good start tho, might have some tight and some loose, plus it doesnt really cost anything if u can do it your self

 

what would happen if they are to tight and some are loose

 

well if any of them at tight you will loose compression, how many miles on the block? cold be rings wearing out

 

160k on the block just did the head 6 months ago i did a leak down test while back it was coo can it get tighter out of no were it was fine like a week ago
