Default hesitation issues under 3000 rpm

i'm having a real hard time diagnosing this problem with my teg. it has a real hesitation issue under 3000 rpm. the problem doenst exist above 3000 rpm. it aslo doesnt seem to occur until after the car has warmed up. i will push my foot on the gas to accelerate and i can feel the car holding back. then all of the sudden it will jump and will start to accelerate like normal. no CEL's or anything. i've replaced the wires, plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter has just been cleaned, i tested the coil and the ohms are with in spec. i'm not sure where else to check. i'm open to ideas.

here's a few other things about the car, 169K miles on it, about 90K on the motor, i replaced the entire exhaust 2 years ago, new cat, both new o2 sensors at that time.

double check the gaps on your plugs and if those check out try advancing or retarding your timing... it pretty much has to be one of those
