rear wheel hub vibrating and shaking at HPDE
did an HPDE and under hard turning, felt one side rear wheel shaking and vibrating. Pulled on the wheel and no play. I have stock 1991 suspension on an ef. nothing is apparent after a visual inspection. Is it the bearing starting to go or end link bushings old or shocks? what should i check or replace first?
lift the corner and spin the wheel by hand. listen and feel for any sort of roughness. it can be hard to distinguish over the brake drum sometimes, but it can be obvious too.
otherwise, maybe you have a flatspotted tire.

Yeah on a car like that with no ABS, and braking during hard cornering, it would be pretty easy to lock up the inside rear wheel.
Do you feel any vibration while driving straight/normally?

No vibration when driving straight but the car and the bearings are 20 years old. Its not going to hurt to start by replacing the bearing. From what I felt that is my first instinct where its coming from.
