Rear wheel bearing?
Hey guys, Im having some trouble with one of my rear wheels and im worried its the bearing. My passenger rear tire keeps wearing through on the inner side. I have gone through two tires now and the alignment is always good. Obviously this is symbolic of camber wear, but the specs are the same as they have been for the past 4 years and i have never had this trouble. How can i find out if its the bearing, and if not...what else could it be? Also any ideas on how much a dealership charges to replace one?

Re: Rear wheel bearing?
Jack up that corner of the car. Grab the rear wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock and see if theres any play, if so then the wheel bearing is bad, if there is no play spin the wheel (remember that the parking brake must be released) if there is a rumble and it feels rough when you spin the wheel the bearing is bad, if both of these check out the wheel bearing is good, start looking at things like toe in.
