Default Wheel Bearing!

I have a 99 hatch with Stock rear drum breaks how do i check if the bearing is bad?

jack the car up on that side and spin the wheel also push the wheel in and out to check for play and any noises. Also if you do have a bad wheel bearing it would be a good idea to check your drum brakes too since you have to pull the drum to get the hub off, also I am fairly positive when you goto advance to get a wheel bearing they give you the whole hub so you don't need to have a press which makes it easy you just need simple hand tools to do the job. I just installed rear brake shoes along with 4 new struts on mine couple months ago.
