Question about bearings.
GSR (P72) block, crank & rods.
all 3 came from different blocks.
My question is how would i go about buying OEM/ACL bearings.
Q1: They all have different colors and how would i go about measuring what size i need.
Opinion: i know ur suppose to use plastigauge and measure with a micrometer but this seems hella crucial and i dont have much experience in doing this and wanted to send out to a pro instead. what price range would i be looking at?
Q2: ACL seems to only have STD and Over size bearings.
Opinion: my question is..what did u guys "DO" to use ACL bearings? sand, cut, shave?? cuz they dont seem to be on point like OEM.
thx for ur time. hope i was clear, and this has been bugging me for the past week..i asked around but everyone i talk to just buy the same color they had and i cant do that....

depends on how **** you want to get with clearances. the ACL's are basically mid color clearance wise. you can do OEM but need to know which colors your block and crank use. if you have different parts from different motors you can buy the ACLs and have a shop line hone the block to get the .0016-.0018 clearance you're probably after.
