my car idiels @ 3000 rpm when I start my car up, as it warms up after driving for 3-5 mins it drops to 1500 rpm. during that period when I start my car, my engine idiels up and down from 3000 to 1500 rpm for the time it is warming up. If u noe whats wrong or what I need to do, or possible problems please let me noe, thx B16A owner

 

Could be your Idle air bypass vavle do a search, there was a similar post days ago, real quick way to find out, take your intake tube off the throttle body and there should be a hole in there somewhere (before the throttle plates) try covering the hole (with car idling) with a rag or your finger and if the idle drops to normal then the problem lies in the above mentioned component. If you don't see the hole then run your finger around the inside of the throttle body. BTW thats the only hole in there. hope this helps
