looks like a jdm type r...

it has a pr3 head, gsr have p72

but type r blocks also says p72 on the back because they are the same casting as gsr

check if the oil pan has p72 or p73 stamped on it

 

I was gonna say it was a GS-R from the P72 Stamp

But....there's a PR3 casting designation on the head...and ITRs use PR3 Head castings.

If you KNOW it's never been taken apart, I'd say it's more than likely an ITR.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they both use Oil Pans stamped P72?

that 12 point clutch bolt is bent yo. haha

 

the intake cam looks like 97 itr. got the two protroding rings and one engraved ring.

Negative, its a JDM Type R.

 

p72 bottom, with a pr3 head, means ITR or a poor mans ITR. By the looks of the head, it seems to be a 1997 pr3 head so its most likely a 97 or 98 ITR motor...

 

Looks like there is also some green paint on the head near where the distributor mounts. 1 more fact that proves its most likely its an ITR.

check where the water pipe is on the head. if its in the front its a gsr head towards the back its b16/itr head.

 

We already know what the head is since it's stamped PR3.
