MUFFLER BEARING? okay okay...... shut the ***** up if ur bored. okay im asking a serious question herer......thanks anyways
A 50-70 shot would be fairly safe. Be sure to retard timing 2 degrees for every 50 shot, gap your plugs down a bit, and run a one heat range colder plug. Don't do extended pulls (1st to the top of 5th) and just use it reasonably. Dry kits tend to be simpler and safer and would be your best bet.
I've personally run N.O.S. dry kits, up to a 100 shot, safely and reliably on stock motors. The issue with the B20 is the siamesed sleeves...just be cautious. 50-70 though would be fine.
If you want reliability with nitrous your going to build it like any other setup. Pistons, rods, (in the b20's case) sleeves, etc. Most nitrous problems are related to poor install and poor setup, so just be sure you do it right.

im sure thats really helping the original poster

ANYWAYS... things to upgrade first off would be pistons and rods, and then if you still want more safety get the motor sleaved
no one can tell you how long it will last, especially w/o knowing what size of shot your runnning, what your setup is, or who is tuning it
I’ve safely run 125-150 shot nitrous on a stock internal b20 vtec for many passes with out any problems. I sold the car about 6 months ago to a buddy and he still drives it as a daily driver with no reliability problems or no smoking and had it recently retuned on crome and made close to 185whp N/A.
On the setup I ran with a tuned hondata s300, walbro fuel pump, good set of headers and exhaust and a 50/50 mixture of pump 91oct and pump 100oct to just keep on the safe side when I went to the track.
Defiantly a good tune and good octane will keep you safe.
If you want most reliability and the ability to run larger shots of nitrous do internal block work (sleeves forged pistons and rods)
