Default baffle for breather?

well i was getting ready to install my valve cover breather kit and was wondering, dose anyone make like baffles on the valve cover so it dosent just suck up oil?

is it a must, and i just never heard about it or what

Some people do weld in a small plate, but I think most don't bother.
