swapping mounts
i took out the rear engine mount bracket from the trans to the frame, to install my polyurethaine rear insert. i just supported the trans with a jack when i was doing it.
oh and its on a dohc zc. hope that helps

i had replaced the rear mount on my rex without engine removal, expect to remove a few things to gain access to it, fuel filter, heater hoses, etc. you will have to sweat about the rear two bolts as there is NO access to them without unbolting the rear crossmember. some will tell you to lower the CM to get to those bolts. i just used two flex connectors on my rachet to unbolt them. have patience and it'll fly. well what do you ahve to loose>??
first take out the rear tranny bracket,
when that slips out you should have room for the mount
btw im referring to a B series application in a 4G car.. hth

helps to get the intake manifold brace out of the way first.
BTW this is the ONLY way to get the rear inserts in on a 5g!
