I have 182k miles with original OEM Honda wires. Should I just go ahead and replace them based on mileage? Spark plugs have been replaced every 30k. These wires can't go forever, or can they?

It certainly won't hurt. I believe one of the emissions recalls for the 5th gens replaced the plugs, wires, and dizzy as well as the air filter and what not. That was for vehicles under 150k.

I would only replace my oem spark plug wires when they go bad. but it wouldn't hurt as the post prior to mine says.

I got that emissions recall work done, it made a huge difference in my ride, the car felt years newer!
