Default TB heat system delete

Could'nt find this on the search mode. I'm wondering how hard it is to delete the system
that heats the TB. It seems as though this would be something you would want to delete
if you lived in a warm climate. I'll be adding the TB spacer at the same time.

Thanks,

Thanks,
ok well the inlet and outlet for the coolant is on the bottom of the front side on the tb. u take out the hose farthest from you, which is the inlet, and u put a nipple in it. then you take out the other hose closest to you, which is the outlet, and u put it on the nipple. then u clamp em both and you're good to go. dont forget to plug up the holes on the tb that will be left open.

just remove one of the hoses from the throtle body. with the other hose put it where the other one was to create a loop. flush it first by pouring water into the end of the hose. now ith the other end of the hose plug it into the side you removed that has coolant.

I believe that by cooling the temperature of the air going into the intake manifold you
can acutally increase hp. The engine runs better with cooler temps on the intake side,
much the same way a CAI would work.

yea it reduces the temperature of the air entering the motor.
there are obviously advantages and disadvantages.
advantage is that u get cooler air temps and a lil more power.
disadvantage is when it gets cold, well if it gets below freezing in your area,
u risk the possibility of freezing the tb shut.
it happened to me last winter and i decided its not worth it for me to risk it again.
but its a simple fix. all u need is a heat gun.

You can also just add a shut off valve to the inlet hose , and flip it closed for the warm month's and flip it open for the winter.. Thats what I did, works great and you dont need to disconect and plug everything.
