Default K24 throttle body coolant lines

So I have a k24 swapped hatch and have had the coolant bypass setup going to the throttle body since ive had it. The other day i figured id try hooking it back up how it was intended and see if there was much difference (ive read plenty of topics about the setup bla bla) just wanted to try it out myself. So i went to start the car and it only stays started for a second or 2 now then dies out. Never had any starting issues before. Is it coincidence or is there something i missed? I connected the top hose to the top port on the tb and bottom coolant hose to bottom of tb. Tried putting it back to how it originally was and same thing. Any thoughts?

If it didn't return to functioning when you removed the hoses and essentially placed the system back the way it was previously... it is a coincidental issue. Did you unplug or modify/alter anything else at the same time as you did the coolant hose installation ???

Thats an interesting issue.

I agree with JRCivic1 to look for anything that might have been disconnected, loose, or broken. In that vicinity only the IACV plug is close to those hoses. No check engine lights? Did you remove or alter any vacuum hose (well the only one would have to be the booster hose)? Did you change any other parts when you performed this procedure?

The upper hose connects the TB coolant port to the upper coolant housing. The bottom hose connects the pipe coming off the IACV to the metal heater pipe that runs from the thermostat housing to the drivers rear of the head. That is how you connected it to get the system back to the way it was intended, right?
