k im just starting in the car world. so bear with me please. looking at doing a swap for my first big mod. before i get a turbo. i plan on saving on buying one unless i can use one i might be getting. well. ina couple years i will be getting a 2000 honda accord. with the 3.0-liter VTEC V6 . is it AT ALL possible to swap that into my civic? if not, i understand its cool. i was just trying to save soem money. any info would be apprecieated.

 

what yr civic? if youre just getting started out, i wouldn't suggest a swap that is not easy and perfected by many. your best bet if you want to swap is to go B-series. check out the FAQ to learn some about the different swaps and combos available.

Do you have a 92-95 Civic, or a 96-00?

 

i have a 97 ex. and i dont plan on it like tomorrow. its going to be a couple years,actually i believe 3 years before i get it. and woudl it be boostable?or should i just save up for a b series. but when i drive the accord its got kick with an auto tranny and my civic is manual. id like that in my car and with some boost. thats all i need.
