not sure of the size, but this thing is friggin huge. not sure what its worth. it needs a good cleaning. but the shaft doesn't have any end play, and spins. like i said, it just needs cleaned really good. the intake side is 6 inches, and the exhaust is a little over 4. selling for best offer

the brand is catapiller. lol. a t3 would fit inside this thing. it weighs a ton. see the quart of oil beside the intake side? i really don't know what size this thing is. i'm pretty sure you'd need a big motor to spool it though.

I'd be willing to guess that this came off of a semi. If it is from a volvo, it would more than likely be a GT4288, and if it is from a detroit series 60, then it would be a GT4294. (T6 flange)

The turbos can make big power in a V8, but not in a Honda with the exhaust wheels they have on them (sometimes larger than 90mm, which is bigger than an S372), and you can't swap exhaust housings on the GT4294 from a detroit because of the trim of the wheel, and the GT4288 is a volvo diesel only unit, which is a freak, and very hard to find even a rebuild kit for.


if you know of a place that could make a hybrid out of this, go for it....

 

i have no use for it. but yeah, its from a cat motor. i know a car can't spool it, but maybe someone wants it for their truck? idk.
