Default using d16y8 intake manifold on d16z6

Ok, the throttle cables have diffrent brackets from the z6 intake to the y8 and i have it geto now how should it be?

i can floor my gas pedal and only opens the throttle half way.

What? Na I'm using a Y8 Intake mani and it has different throttle cable brackets and its different then the z6 intake brackets.

No because the Y8 has it mounting brackets differently. theirs 2 10mm holding it on the y8 and on my z6 manifold it had just 2 nuts that held and adjusted the throttle cable not this one though.

I believe it part number 12 and 6 but my z6 had the throttle cable only thing holding it was the 2 nuts that u adjust it with the y8 mani has 2 10mm bolt that hold the throttle cable.

Just go pick up a cable and bracket. Shouldn't cost you too much. I picked up a type R cable and bracket for my GSR motor in my EK for a little over 50. You shouldn't have a problem just running a new cable.

I do have the bracket but it just dont sit right. ill post pics when weather clears up.
