I bought a 97' d16y5 to put into 1996 civic ex. When i bought the engine, it didnt come with a wiring harness, ecu, or intake manifold. I was reading online and the civic HX motor has something else (evap something, i forget) on the intake manifold that i havnt seen on any other civic. I was wondering if there was a way I could use a different intake manifold, like a y8's that doesnt have that thing, and still pass emissions. Im worried without that valve it will throw a code, but maybe theres another way.. thanks
