How install skunk2 prosearies intake manifold on Civic HX?
Ok i bought a new civic sohc hx coupe. Is there an instructions for installing a skunk2 prosearies intake manifold????

I had the part already an had a lx an was gunna put it on but got this new civic for cheap so i was like instead of wasting a part just use it you know so do u have an idea on a set of instructions or a guide??

The problem is that the HX uses an EGR valve associated with the intake manifold so if you remove it its going to throw a code and make your car run in limp mode.

What u mean my certification? An u can use it it just requires more modification. What mods do i have to do anyone know? An i wanna use the intake manifold an i just bought the dam thing

You can't use the manifold unless you want a check engine light on all the time. If you can figure out how to bypass the EGR so the ECU thinks its there on OBD2 you may be the first.

so does anybody on this form happen to have any useful info to my first question. is there a diagram or an instruction. or does anybody have a picture that can help me out. with hooking up my skunk2 pro series intake. i have a 2000 civic hx.
i have it currently hooked up. my car started and it ran however it runs at a 3500 idle speed. i cant figure that out. id like some more info.

OP listen to the comments, don't install that IM on your car, you will need to bypass the EGR, and you aren't going to make that happen, so stick to the stock IM.
