Is My Fuel System Good Enough
Hi I have a 1992 Civic HB. Im putting a Built LS Vtec in my car and going for 700whp. Im planning to use this fuel system:
Walbro 255 in tank
stock fuel lines up to fuel filter
Stock fuel filter
6an lines
bosch 044 fuel pump
aem fuel rail
aem FPR
RC 1600cc
Stock return lines
Will this setup work for this power goal?
Is the stock fuel filter ok?

why not fork over another 200$ and just do a -6AN or -8AN all the way up to the front of the car ?? youll need a fuel filter, thats what 55$, youll need some 10-20 ft line 130 and some fittings.
you're messing with 700 HP here, not 400.
and dont bother with that aem FPR. get a real fpr like an aeromotive, trickflow, magnafuel, etcc

Just a 255 with that much power? Add a bosch inline with proper lines and fittings and you should be good. If your looking to cheap out id suggest dropping your goals to an unreliable 500.
I hit almost 600 on pump gas with stock lines feed & return lines, intake Walbro 255lph HP, stock fuel filter, Aeromotive FPR, and just -6an lines from filter to rail and rail to FPR...
No issues at all or drops in pressure.

It can be done but like Projectdc2 said why risk it over a couple hundred bucks. the two pumps will be adaquite but the lines may be cause for concern.
