Default THE Four Door Civic Project

Here is a little project me and my buddy JC have been working on for a few day. Its a 95 civic four door ex model. I would like to throw big props to Jc for all his help. We both about got divorces over this car........well on to the good stuff.

This is how it sat 8 hours after the drive back from Washington D.C.(it was stock) now sitting on rota grids and bouncing on OMNI POWER coilovers.

This is how the engine bay looked like 2 days later....(the stock single slam vtec was just alittle under powered)

here a tease for u guys. this is what the waste gate was producing on a smaller spring

List of some of the goodies

Engine is a gsr sleeved and bored 84mm
scat ls crank, manley ls rods,cp slugs
p&p b16 head crower s2 turbo cams, springs and retainers, rev valves
ctr tranny with quafie
clutchmasters s5 clutch
aebs intake and throttle body
neukin turbo mani,dp and complete 3" exhaust
sc6176s turbo
s300
780 percision injectors
blah blah blah

more and better pics to come after I clean it up some. When I picked it u in D.C. it was about 97.5% stock. Only mods it had were jdm ferio badges, jdm headlights, side markers, and power folding mirrors.

Not bad. Only problem, It took you 8 hours for just coilovers and wheels but only 2 days for a full swap and boost? Either way total sleeper!

well it took 8hourson the coil overs for two reasons. number 1 I didnt I left DC at 4 in the afternoon and drove all the way home nonstop. I got to sleep at like 5:30 the next morning. number 2 I ha to wait on my buddy to get off work so we could use his shop.

good numbers. i have a similar setup with a 10lb spring and made 306whp 238tq. you may have a larger spring though if its creeping.... the springs are pretty dead on with all my experiences.

well the tuner said my nukin mani was not the best design is the reason its creeping. he said the gate is only getting its pressure from the front 2 runners so it wont equal out causing a little creeping.

well it only creep up 1 pound. its a nukin ac compatible mani so it was a few $$$. Hewas telling me about a high horse power supra that had a similar design but of course for the 2jz engine. they pulled the waste gate off and it just ad a huge hole and still made 4 psi.

the bay pic was also taken right after the install even before the engine was started. now those blue wires are tucked away and everything else is alittle more in place. I will get more pics soon as I clean it up

I meant jdm turn signals. I was told that anyway. the headlights and turn signals are supposed to be jdm. the mirrors are power folding so I thought they was jdm aswell.
