for the cams to be effective it will take alot more than just cams alone.. but them and a good tune would be a nice start!

If you are going for best bang for the buck, spray some funny gas "nitrous"

If you want some thing more permanent, just piece together a turbo kit of junkyard parts... you'll make good power on a stock b16.

Don't waste money on cams, cam gears etc... Get those when your goal is like 300+whp. If your plan is all motor, thats a different story, but then again your motor wouldn't be stock...

More than one way to skin a cat.

By exhaust you mean just a cat back? Or do you have a header also?

You got the Skunk2 IM. Why not throw on a TB with it? If you plan on staying N/A then I would do cams after that. Make sure you are willing to drop the cash on the supporting mods as well. Then tune it and have fun.

I'm no expert. But I would have to say that the guy with the junkyard turbo had the best idea. Or the spray. Cams, valvetrain, TB, exhaust and all that all motor stuff will be nice but it all has to work together to really make a big difference. I imagine higher compression is needed to bring out the cams also. This gets very $... I was thinking about picking up a used supercharger kit for my SIR, seems like a cheaper route to get nice reliable power and a smooth power band.

if your going to turbo it do it right.. dont buy junkyard parts for a reliable car its calld a junkyard for a reason theres junk there. if your gonna do it do it right the first time and save yourself the hassle and money even tho it might be a little more then your looking for i got a junkyard turbo set up for my accord and like i said its junk. if you dont want name brand stuff then get an evo or gsx turbo
you dont NEED higher compression for cams but it always helps (if your not looking to boost) but even on a stock B16 ITR cams and valve train will show you some results.. as for the tuning dont go with a piggyback system, there cheap for a reason.. the best way to tune your car is actually tuning the ecu again a little more money but its worth it
