okay so i had a 94 sohc vtec civic. put in a 93 b16a engine with its p30 ecu from a del sol. can anyone help with the 02 sensor wiring. im getting a code 41 for sensor heater. old 02 sensor from sohc engine had 1 wire this sensor has 4

 

you have to get an O2 sensor from Bseries with the 4 wires. the 1 wire dealy wont work.....ever

 

i have the 4 wire sensor but since the old sensor only had 1 wire im missing a wire or 2 too the ecu

 

if you go to a junk yard and get a 4 wire o2 sensor its almost free and screw it in and plug it in and no need to get wire gheto

 

he has it.

 

black o2 wire, sensor signal

gray o2 wire, o2 ground

white o2 wire, heating element

white o2 wire, heated signal

 

I need to know this too. From where do you get the extra wires from???? Theres only the white wire from the engine harness

 

i'd also like to know, i'm assuming you take the wire from the single wire harness and connect that to the black, the ground is pretty much a no brainer, but where do you pin the two white wires to? i'm about to do a swap on my brothers car and its a 92 dx with a single wire o2 and is going to need the 4 wire conversion.

 

just run the 3 other wires from the o2 back to the ecu... use google.com to find out where they go. theres nothing hard about it.

 

ok sorted out my problem. all i had to do is find the orange and black wire from the engine loom that didnt go to the ecu from the cars loom. connect that wire to pin 6 on connector A
