..:: 92 Accord window glass problem - top corner round pin ::.. PICS - need advice
So my window in the 92 Accord recently appears to have popped off the track. I noticed that the round black plug or pin is gone. I believe that this is a guide that helps the window ride on its track. Is there a way to repair it? Should I purchase a new pin and guide from Honda or will any pin/guide work from a integra or other honda model? Attached is a pic of the problem. Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance
Same thing happened to mine and I just fixed with a bolt from ace hardware. You will have to find the device that bolted into the hole. It should be stuck someplace in the window groove track
You can go to the honda stealer ship and get those parts for like 10-20 bucks. it's easy to install. I've done it.
you just gotta unscrew the track, screw the bolt in. glue the track back down, screw it in again. and good to go. some ppl say you gotta take the panels off b/c you'll scratch the window but i didn't... may be different for sedans and coupes tho.
check your junkyard, good chance it'll be there
