Ok here is my opinion on things. I am not trying to insult either. Here it goes
Cheap and Fast dont go together
Cheap and Reliable dont go together
But Cheap and **** go hand in hand

So my question(s) to you is:
Is it really worth buying cheap **** and having the headache of everything breaking or not fitting right, people making fun of you about the parts you buy and the dissapointment of it all?
Or
Will you be more happy with parts that dont fail, the joy of making more power then you figured, and the fact that other people admire it?

Look, the only advice you are going to get is to search and use the FAQ (at the top of this page) Which goes over this in GREAT detail. The ebay kits suck. Period. Yes you get more, that's because it's all crap anyways.

You don't have to spend 3k on a kit. Save your money and buy quality used parts individually. I know that what I say will likely not change your mind, but please remember this when you see the light.

850 will hardly get you anything if you want to go boost. It might cover the hondata and a few other things. Look man if your wanting to buy a cheap turbo set-up then go for it. You are on the wrong forum to get any ggod reviews from ebay turbi kits, parts, etc. I know when i want to do something, I buy what I know works. I would never buy anything that is basically only sold on ebay that has to do with turbo stuff. go ahead and buy it, and if it does good. Then consider yourself lucky. If it craps out within a few weeks like 98% of the other stuff. Then start buying good parts. You live and you learn.

My friend and i are thinking about d series turbo. And we made a list of parts and estimates, and the cheapest turbo build for 300whp with okay quality parts was 2,500
not including dyno tune.

$2500 is pretty steep with "okay quality" parts. I have seen a lot of friends and other people run solid parts and build a kit for $1600-$1800, or maybe even cheaper.
