cooling fan

Default cooling fan

It doesnt come on. Why? 91 crx

Does your temp guage show signs of overheatnig or abnormally warm temps?

It does show higher temps. Once I get to freeway speed then slow down in town and idle it begins to rise in temp. Turn on heater, temp starts dropping

So it does get hot - might be the temp switch on the back of the motor by the oil filter (big black plug with 2 wires). Unplug the connector from the temp switch and short the wires in the connector together. Turn the car on and the fan should turn on. If it does, then replace the temp switch.

If not, then unplug the fan and hook it directly to the battery and see if it works. If it doesn't then replace the fan motor.

If the fan does work, then it's wiring or the relay.
