Default Valve Spring Compressor

Iv searched and came up empty handed.

So far the only tool iv found and liked is the Snap-on piece.

part number YA9140A

Iv looked on a few websites; tavia, summit, napa, and didnt find what I was looking for.

I figured I would make a post to see if anyone had any better/cheaper options.

I use the snap on one and it works but the other one dr. drache posted seems like it may be easier.

This is the one I have. It is by far better in to use in every way compared to the other style valve spring compressors.

Yeah the one posted looks pretty simple. Thanks for the heads up drache.

I imagine cams have to be removed, but what about rocker arms?

Rocker arms can stay. I just rubberband the intake and exhaust rockers per cylinder, together, and they hold each other up and out of the way.

I've got this one, and for the price it works great, it's about 30 less than the snap on unit, but since they are both made in China, I doubt the snap on units are that much better.
