Which valve spring compressor do you prefer to use when installing valve springs? There are several to choose from and was just wonder what experiances people have had with them.

 

I made my own out of scrap metal at my house so it was free. They're pretty easy to make if you have some technical knowledge so I'd say go to a hardware store and make your own. Since wetoddedracing seems to be down I can't find my picture though. I'll have to go look for it to give you an idea of what to get. Unless you just wanna buy one then I have no clue and am worthless to your post.

Your post is not worthless. I try to do things myself if i can. You get a better feel of acomplishment if you do it yourself. I seen this one on Ebay but its way too much money. Someone payed 80 dollars for it.

 

I'm still looking for the pics but mine looks a lot like the snap on valve spring compressor. I'm 100% sure that if you're even slight mechanically inclined you can take the picture of the snap on one and make your own from a hardware store. I'm gonna start looking for the pictures again so I can help you out though.
