Default h series going back to b series

Hey guys bout to pick up a new car but it currently has h swap in it, i really much rather swap it back to a bswap and boost it. will there be any problems for the shift linkage from b series swap since the Previous owner hacked it up at the shifter opening to do the h swap?

H motor use cable shift linkage, as long as they didnt cut out where the b series linkage bolts up you should have a problem. as far a a/c bracket you can use any b series a/c bracket if you have a b series compressor. if you have a d series compressor you will have to use a del sol b16 or crv a/c bracket.

well, i looked at the engine bay, and i think im pretty screwed, it seems that the old b series chassis mount was cut off to put the newer h mount there on the passenger side...****

i much rather have a b series because i just love b series. much easier for me to get ac and ps back on the car. My tranny in the car grinds gears like a ****. If i'm going to have to replace the tranny i much rather throw a ls in it

why dont you do an h to b tranny conversion kit then you can keep the h with a b series tranny then sleeve it and and boost!!!

cant stress this enough..GO BACK TO A BSERIES!!!! i bought a 92 civic vx shell hatch and the dude had an h series in it..so no passenger mount. go to a junkyard and drill all the spot welds out of one and itll poop right out. i used aircraft carriage bolts(116,000psi tensile strength!!!-a buddy of mine is an airplane mechanic). Anyways its been working for 10,000 miles and it hasnt given me any trouble. I had a spot weld put on each of the bolts tho and a bead of weld put all the way around the entire bracket. worked like a charm

that gets expensive man and personally- i like to use the engines and trannies that were originally designed for each other by honda, keeps things simple. besides my b series give me a better weight distibution than an h series in a hatch. had both an h22 hatch and a gsr hatch and ive still got the gsr, 22's gone baby gone

yeah i have a f22b2 in my integra now and its homo. The tranny sucks grinds 2nd gear. My plan is to definitely find a mount from a nother chassis and reweld it back on and just throw a b back in it and boost it later. h/f sucks weiners

Yeah right an the right H22 Will stomp your little b series . nothing liter engine. More displacement. Get some mounts
Now the f22 is sort of gay. But probably pretty fast in a civic
