i got this block from work that was hydrlocked. i finally took it all apart and found #1 rod was bent but all the other rods look find. it nicked the base of the cylinder pretty good and i was plannin on using this block as a back up motor and having it sleeved..my question is will this block still be sleeveable or not and will it most likely cause problems in the future.








this is the water passage behind the cylinder walls where coolant circulates..one of the guys says the block is junk cuz its cracked but it doesnt looked cracked..sorry the crappy phone pics

 

being that I'm crazy I would re-sleeve the block to sleep better at night...

 

There wiould be no problem having that block sleeved. That part that is damaged would get machined out.
