I just wondering about put an EG sunroof in a EK Civic because i dont like the sunroof sliding into the roof.,,, i like over the roof.. there is any mod? or something? Sunroof Swap??

it's been done. theres a ek hatch somewhere on here with it. the guy said he had it done by a shop. if i remember right it had no sunroof to start.

 

that s**t would look nice, i dont like the sunroof sliding into the roof either. let us know how that goes. i might try it with my sunroof too

 

Ive seen an hatchback also but the roof been swapped from an EG Civic!!! The roof inside panel too.... looks very very interesting and so nice....

So im wondering if an EK with sunroof can be modified to slide over the roof!

 

i think the sunroof was from an rsx or integra on that ek.

 

There was a guy with a coupe who put the sliding assembly from a 5th gen or Integra into his '96-'00 Civic coupe.

It looked bad and didn't slide properly, but he liked it. It only slid open about half way.

I had saved the photos, but can't find them anymore. I also can't find the thread. I think the car was silver or white.

 

all that work just to keep the moonroof from sliding into the roof
