Icon3 Need help with overheating issue

I have a 93 CX , 160k miles, I was riding home from work, it started overheating.. I pulled over and coolant was leaking. A hose busted so I replaced the hose, since then it has been overheating completely after 3-4 minutes of normal driving. I changed the thermostat and made sure the Fan is working and I'm not sure what else to check. Could someone point me in the right direction here

The next step is a thorough bleeding of the cooling system. It may have some trapped air that is impeding coolant flow. Set the heater lever/**** on the dash to maximum heat and then follow the steps in the diagram:

Ah yeah, should've thought of that, when the hose busted.. it most definately let air int he system. I forgot to mention the heat is not working, it stopped working that day. Thanks for the quick and helpful reply.

By the way, some people suggesting parking the car on an incline with the front end up during the bleed procedure to help all the bubbles come out.

Yep, but he might as well try to bleed it first.
