Hey everybody...today i changed my heater hose because my old one got a few holes in it and was over-heating anyways..i fixed it and now the car isn't over heating or anything...but everytime I put coolant in the reservoir theres no leak but after i drive and come home and go to leave again its empty...and theres no leaked coolant anywhere...any idea?

motor is a boosted d16y7 if that matters

Did you bleed the cooling system after replacing the heater hose?

smh... no sir, i didn't know i had to do that..how do i go about that?

Bleeding the cooling system may take 20-30 minutes:

1) Park the car on an inclined driveway with the front end higher than the rear.

2) Push/turn the dash heater lever/**** to MAX heat (fan does not need to be on)

3) Follow the directions in the diagram below

so do i need to use the bleed bolt?

A D16Y7 has no bleed bolt.

oh okay sorry! haha i've never had to do this before, why does it take 20-30 min if i just have to add coolant turn it on and off and then add coolant again? and this will just take care of the fact that my coolant keeps disappearing? haha sorry, im very new to doing it myself, but i love it

It takes some time to get all the bubbles out of the entire cooling system.

Check your oil dipstick to see if there is any coolant leak in to the oil.
Is your exhaust blowing white smoke?
When the engine is running does the upper radiator hose feel hard like it is pressurized?
These are signs of serious problems like a blown head gasket or cracked head or block not uncommon with Hondas especially boosted Hondas.
