Default Z6 cam vs. Y8 cam...Good Info!!

I know that much research has been done comparing the two heads and the Z6 seems to be the winner in terms of flow, but looking at these numbers which are sourced from http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/specs.htm Im not a cam expert but it looks to me as though te Y8 has better numbers, SO would the z6 head y8 cam be the better setup?

the difference there seems marginal. not enough to notice if you swapped.

what would be better... an akmee cam, or any other aftermarket street cam. reginds are good too, if you want a more affordable option.

check it out.

"The reason why a regrind will not measure truly is that since the base circle of the cam is now smaller, the contact patch of the cam follower is now contacting the lobe in a different place for where it was designed to contact, which throws off the rocker ratio and makes the valve move slightly out of sync with the lobe of the cam. It is not uncommon for many poor quality aftermarket Honda cams to be ground off by a few degrees."
