Default whats needed to swap b20 into 98 civic ex

i currently have a b16a2 running obd1 in my ej8, runs perfect, but i want a motor with more torque, what would it take to swap a jdm b20 motor in?

Will my y21 tranny bolt right up to the jdm b20?

I just want to throw a 3inch intake, 4-2-1 header, and my current exhuast. I would keep my b16 motor for something. If anyone has a b20 with some bolt ons in a civic coupe let me know how it feels, don't really want to go b20vtec. thanks for the help guys.

im pretty sure b-series stuff is interchangeable so your current trans should bolt up fine. you should be able to use all the stuff you have now just get a different ecu or rechip it for a b20. any experts wanna chime in

if you just want to swap the block, i will use some higher pistons, use the B16 head and the tranny, you will loved!!!

there's more to it then just slaping the b16 head on it, I just want to take it slow, get the motor add some bolt on's, and take it from there. Ive never driven a b20 of any sort but the b18b seems so much more torquey then my current b16 which is in good health, from HMO explains it all.
